A win is a win

It wasn't pretty. In fact that first half of the Chiefs/Raiders game was a yawn .. I mean come on 9-6? can't we do better than this? Then we got some offense going in the second half. Then they got some offense going in the second half. Then they were up 23-20. 5 seconds left. We're at their 1 yard line. Safe bet is to kick the field goal, and send the game in to OT. Dick Vermil poo poos that and goes for the win. Larry Johnson leaps over the pile of defenders, lands in the end-zone. Bam. Touch Down Chiefs! A Chiefs victory. Another sweep of the Raiders. And we are sitting at 5-3 and they are sitting at 3-5. We're just one game behind the Donkeys in the AFC West. Our next two games should be easy wins -- AT Buffalo (sorry Angi!) and AT Houston .. doesn't mean they will be easy wins, but I think they'll pull both of them out before playing a difficult HOME game to the Pats.

The weekend was good otherwise. Currently dealing with a bit of drama due to people assuming the worse and leaping to conclusions, and hopefully these conclusions aren't going to ruin my life .. the very well could, or at least bring things crashing down on me a little. Assumptions really do end up hurting people.
