This must be just like living in paradise

Well, this weather at least. It’s going to be in the upper 70’s on Wednesday. I think I feel a cold coming on … *cough* *cough*. It’s insane. I’m not complaining though. I love it! I wish it could be this mild all year long. Yesterday was beautiful. We have a little patio and Clayton was able to play out there (one he put me to work raking all the leaves off of it) .. he had fun, had the door opening listening to him play while watching the Chiefs win. I was hoping that either the Donkey’s or the Bolts would lose a game, so we could gain some ground on them – but at least we didn’t lose any ground. That’s a good thing.

Not sure what I think about the possible impending quarterback controversy. The media really, really, really wants there to be one. Jason Twitlock – one of our columnists wants there to be one … John Clayton (of espn.com) wants there to be one – even some fans want there to be one. Yes, yes .. you don’t lose your position due to injury. Trent was dressed and on the sidelines yesterday – and was our third string quarterback in yesterday’s game. However – last time I heard, he would probably be ready for the game in Miami (which is Sunday) and now they are saying maybe the next game at home against the Raiders. I think that maybe they’ll keep pushing back his ready date .. I don’t know. All I know is that Huard is playing exceptionally well and that Tony G. is having probably the best year in his career (and I had to turn of the stupid TV guys yesterday when they failed to mention that he set a franchise record for touchdown receptions when he caught # 58 and 59 yesterday. And I can also not say enough good things about Larry Johnson. So congratulations to the Chiefs on a game well-played yesterday. On to Miami (who hopefully will be still high on their win over the previously unbeaten Bears and will have a let-down kind of game .. our record in Florida isn’t too great … although we did win there last year.). And really, that’s all I have to say about that. You’re all probably bored anyhow.

Happy Monday Ya’ll!
