Come Monday It'll be all right

The Monday after a Chiefs win is always a good day. And not just a Chiefs win, but a Chief’s route. Granted, the 49ers are not good, not by any stretch of the imagination. However, the Chiefs looked good. Offense – scored a crap load of points (41 to be exact) .. defense looked good – didn’t allow ANY points to be scored (in fact, the defense has not allowed any touchdowns to be scored in the last 10 quarters (two and a half games). They had something like 5 sacks … Special teams? Looked good. Dante Hall ran one back for a touchdown. Damon Huard looked – well looked much better than a back-up quarterback. He was 18/23 – 208 yards and no interceptions. Yup. They looked good. Granted, they have a long way to go, and I’m not planning my trip to the Super Bowl just yet, but yesterdays win makes 1-2 not so bad. Next week they play AT Arizona, and will face another back-up quarterback … and another no-so good team, but if we can have another solid performance like we did yesterday, next Monday will probably be a good Monday too.
